I can remember when gaboons were rare. If someone had a gaboon in their collection it was extreamly cool. Now it's rare if someone doesn't have at least one. They usually have 6 or more.

The greem mamba looks like vines in animated movies, the Mangshan viper looks so pretty, same with the reticulated python, the rainbow shine looks so pretty. Danger noodles are just amazing

I love that we get to learn about these amazing creatures, but I can’t help feeling so very sad when I see them in little containers like that. They have no space and I feel like they must be so bored and so scared and it just makes me really sad

I am all for pursuing a hobby. Just thinking about a person breed that many gaboon vipers and somehow a few escaping and then becoming an invasive species just sits wrong. I hope they are atleast priced where no normal joe can buy them.
