I know an older gent from Southern Indiana who is a retired crop farmer. He and I are on a first name basis. He sold off his farm a few years back so that the new bridge from Louisville, KY to Clarksville, IN could be built. Let's just say: He made out like a bandit. I go to the same auction houses every week. And he only shows up when there's a gold coin. He's the gold guy. He has such a substantial collection, and won't let anything go. People have tried to buy parts of his collection, but he won't budge. He doesn't have a wife. He doesn't have any kids. And he is a total "Indiana hillbilly." That means, he probably takes it out to whatever land he has left and buries his money in the ground. I'm gonna go buy me a metal detector and advise you do the same, and in a few years (if we're still around), this will be us: Laughing all the way to the bank.
Unless he outlives me, then he gets the final laugh! ;)
