I was so excited about learning the guitar in high-school, by the end I was so burned out and I haven't touched either of mine in a few years. I lost the passion that I had and now I don't have the time.

So tired of the overload. We forgot how much of guitar playing was feeling and enjoying. Once I felt like I had to dive into every aspect, it took the fun right out of it. It stagnated my playing. Tons of great music would have never been around if the musician had to learn every tedious aspect of the instrument before recording.

Try learning to play music first...grab albums you like by people who arent Polyphia or other uber players, snd learn by playing to the album....maybe evert 2-3 days play some scales to train your ear and fingers...try getting the rhythm down BEFORE you start soloing without unerstanding! But, play every day you can...do that and in a year you will be ripping...then learn yhe more advanced theory...and try solos...
