I find a bit of heel slip is ok especially in the beginning, that’ll go away with break in as long as the boots are sized correctly. With pull on boots I typically get my regular size but in B width(narrow) typically I’m an 11 C/D depending on the boot, lace ups I can do a D width no problem, pull on I’m B/C width, helps the boot feel snug like a firm handshake around the ball of my foot but that little heel slip is ok in my mind as it’ll go away, with time, also if the boots are a little snug width wise that’ll ease off to as the leather stretches a bit and forms to your foot. I’d say heel slip is ok as long as the boot isn’t just falling off as you walk lol literally walking out of your boots! That ain’t good! Anyway great information.
