Hopefully the performance will be more like the one against City than those against Fulham or Southampton. I anticipate that Spurs will get a goal, they've been scoring quite freely, but if we can go for their weaknesses at the back then we would, hopefully, still win by 1 or 2 goals. It's probably best to go at them early, put them on the back foot and get a goal or two up, than to play our calmer, more measured, first half like we've seen against some of the teams lower down the table. That first 25 against City, although at home, set out our stall and City were like a boxer wobbling on the ropes, I feel that Spurs can have that glass jaw, but they can pull out a swift jab from multiple places. Fortunately, under Slot, Liverpool are able to roll with the odd surprise jab and still come out on top. I'm looking forward to seeing how Arne approaches this one. Top at Xmas can be a good indication of the title, but I have the feeling that the only side that bucks this trend (apart from once) over the last 30 years has been LFC, so I'm not hanging my hat on that. Nonetheless, you need to win as many games as possible to get the title and, except the most recent few games in the league, Arne's been great at racking up points home and away. YNWA
