My daughter had a gortex liner and fibreglass exterior cast. It was amazing! They actually encouraged you to get it wet. Dried in 10 mins.

Hi Docs, just dropping by to wish you both well. You helped me with advice about my hip after fracturing the second one. I’m the woman that will never fall again but I need to get up, get over the fear and move to stay young and alive. Thank you for what you do for all of us out here. Sláinte , Peggy (Health in Irish ❤)

The first cast I had I was 13 and it was hot in school so I used to go to the water fountain (we call them “bubblers” in WI) and let water run down inside my cast…it felt WONDERFUL 😊

All the signatures on it might wash off. (Smiley emoji, wherever the heck they are for 'Shorts') Are casts still made of Plaster of Paris?
