i agree with the sentiment and do think people make excuses, but i dont really know if we all have the same amount of time in a day... we all get 24 hours in a day, yes, but everyones 24 hours are soooo different

Amen. You have to put food in your stomach and a roof overhead, but many (if not most) people “too busy” for creation seem to be well beyond that socioeconomic point, considering the computers/cameras etc. at their disposal
Seems like that dreaded ancient enemy of Resistance strikes the artistic world yet again; stay strong out there folks 😕

I want to write screenplays, but side tracked with other stories. I'm writing a fantasy at the moment and I can't turn it into a screenplay as it is more of a novel. I have outlines but this is taking too much of my time writing

I hear what he’s saying, but he’s speaking from a very priveleged space. No empathy.
You do have to find the time, but its really hard being an actor in NY, working all day just to BARELY make rent. And send in a 8page self tape audition that you got yesterday, which is due tomorrow.

The 24 hours is SO different for some than they are for others. Do the best you can to claw back some of your time & energy from the system. A lot of artists work these dead end day jobs that eat up all their time & energy. Do the best you can to steal back time.
