I remember President Nixon. He was very good at motivating Americans feel proud of their country. He truly loved America and it's people.

He was a member of the Greatest Generation. Because of this he knew about responsibility and duty facing World War II and the Great Depression. I feel honored to have been alive while he served as our President, being a young person while he was in office.

Watching three clips makes me realize we NEVER saw Nixon in school, on TV, anywhere. We need wisdom like this now more than ever.

The greatest meaning in life comes from responsibility and duty.
Duty to self, to family, to community and to country.
I hope we all find our way to stand up to the challenges of this world, rise to the occasion of our generation and lead our country and our world into a brighter future.

Richard Nixon was an extremely intelligent man and a worthy president. He made a mistake and paid a very high price , but he loved his country and was plenty qualified to do the job the people elected him to do. I hope history reflects his very important accomplishments domestically and his expertise in foreign policy while he lead our country. He deserves that.

He didn't get a standing ovation from the VP every time he breathed. How standards have dropped.

And the most recent SOTU address was a political stump speech and attack ad. Thank you President Nixon. I really needed to hear something like this today

I wish every elected president or official would be obligated to listen to all of the President Nixon’s speeches before staring their job!
If you put the watergate aside (I have a feeling he was tricked into it), he was truthful, wise, smart, well meaning, faithful friend for his friends and most important…, extremely qualified for his job!
God rest his soul!

What i really like about this, is the fact of looking and making the best decision for the future and for our young people. We have lost this completely.

I know about watergate, but listen to this man at his state of union. It makes me cry because we are all lost now with out this type of vision and inspiration.

I was only '68-'74 during the Nixon years. Other than Watergate, as well as after the continued to be a statesman, he was a great man despite flaws that we all have. RIP.
