Jfc that's not a mommy moment. That's a "Monster Mentality." Mommy moments are when you get all up in your feels when your kid makes you proud. Like those boring-ass school recitals that become worthwhile the moment your kid steps onstage dressed as a tree stump or some shit.

I've always wondered why i never could really value things i possessed. Until i thought back to the time my mother and grandmother sat me down in my bedroom and cleared it of all the toys i loved and cherished and cared for, putting them in trashbags and forcing me to watch the trashmen take it and put it in the truck, never to see those items again. It all clicked. I inherited the mentality of "whats the point of taking care of something if itll be disposed of by someone else?" Im getting better at undoing that mentality, but its pretty ingrained in my head, so itll be a while

I'm 26 and my mum (yeah, I still live at homw) threatens to throw my PS5 out the window if I don't get things sorted in the house before I go on it. But she wouldn't actually, she'll say it to get me to do as I told (her house, her rules), but at most, she'd just take my controller off me or take the fuse out like she did to my Xbox when I was in colleges π

Acting like an adult toddler is not something a mother should do so it should not be classified as anything to do with a motherly moment.....

LOL I'm a single daddy with a five-year-old little boy who lives with me, what she needs to learn how to do is control her anger and just take the Xbox away for a week or so to make the kids learn his lesson and then if he doesn't fall in line get rid of it.
