I FULLY agree with the last three, i went in blind, refused to search stuff up and got killed by mantis lords several times in progressively stupid ways lol, mantis lords are actually my third fav boss hornet and nkg/tmg are my favs they were greatly challenging and so fun to slowly learn the patterns of and so rewarding when i beat them, searching stuff up and looking for tips and maps ruin it learn it be happy when you find new areas instead of knowing everything before you experience it

I think being backseated for secrets is ok because it helps you not to get past some good details of the game. For combat it can also be useful if you're struggling on a boss.

I do agree that you should not get a help for exploration that's one of the main things that make hollow knight the way it is I regret watching videos for where to go after completing the game I feel nothing I didn't explore anything I just watched videos about it

No but really, IMO Hollow knight is a medium difficulty game, not too easy but not too hard apart for some looks at radiant GPZ, Markoth and absrad, kinda NKG but hes pure muscle memory
