Yes, as a life-long Seventh-day Adventist l can honestly say l have made the right choice. The work of Adventism was a joint effort. Time and time again, the early pioneers struggled to "earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints" (Jude 3). They constantly prayed, fasted, and studied the scrptures; something basically foreign to this day and age. It's little wonder that this fast-talking, microwave generation don't want the discipline of exercising faith. Most individuals want to "slide" their way into God's kingdom; failing to admit that "strait...and narrow is the way, that leads to life everlasting, and few be there that find it" (Matthew 7:14). They fail to rightly divide the problems and the words of truth for this time (2 Timothy 2:15/Counsels on Diet p. 283). They are "destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 6:4). I find that most, if not all who oppose Mrs. White, don't know enough scripture to try and prove her right or wrong. Alas! we are a generation of people who are "dead in trespasses and sins" (Epesians 2:1)...a prediction of what Jesus said would happen (Matthew 24:37). Don't let it be said of you, "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate" (Matthew 23:38).
