The Old Summer Palace Museum
The Old Summer Palace Museum is located in Zhengjue Temple, covering an area of ​​14,300 square meters and a construction area of ​​3,649 square meters.

On October 18, 2023, the ox head, tiger head, monkey head, and pig head of the twelve animal heads of the Old Summer Palace collected by the Poly Art Museum reunited in the Old Summer Palace for the first time after 163 years, and appeared together with the horse head in the "Five Heads Reunited·New Words of the Hometown" Old Summer Palace Animal Head Bronze Statue Special Exhibition.
Six animal heads returned to Beijing
Since 2000, the animal heads that had been lost overseas have begun to appear in auctions and other places, attracting widespread attention at home and abroad. After twists and turns, hundreds of years later, some of the animal heads have finally returned. At present, in addition to the horse head returning to the Old Summer Palace, the ox head, monkey head, tiger head, pig head, rat head, and rabbit head have also returned to the motherland. However, the whereabouts of the other five animal heads are still unknown.
