I definitely don't bother counting rows all the time in a swatch and even when knitting a bigger project I never use a row counter and I definitely don't mark row count on a paper. If I need to knit up to a specific row count, I'll use stitch markers for easier counting, but generally it's just easier and faster to read your knitting rather than stop all the time for note taking. Not to mention how it's yet another thing you need to mind while knitting and I don't like things like that talking my attention away from my crafts.

Hahahaha that ending! This is for “relaxation” - “hrmrn”

My mom keeps telling me that I can’t possibly be knitting for “relaxation”, it’s an extreme sport to me. I’m fighting with this scarf and it’s winning.

I’m currently knitting brioche and I am literally having nightmares about stitches. Woke up in a cold sweat last night, from a nightmare that I dropped a stitch.

Love knitting.

This video format is so relatable and cute! And yea, I avoid all counting of rows, stitches, yarn amount 😂 relaxation doesn’t include numbers until it’s only relaxing until you have that info, lol

I also never count rows unless the pattern is dependent on it (colorwork, cables, etc). I just use a ruler or tape measure to see if it's the length/size I want

I actually have been trying to not use row counters as much lately (inspired by you), so far jury is out in whether I find it liberating or if it just adds more anxiety for me 😂 depending on the stitch I think it could be either way

That is some masochistically thin knittysticks! I am feverish, so I have a 10 mm blanket I am poking at for actual RELAXATION, without hmmmmmmmpfs 😂

Haha im the way that I mark my rows on paper because I hate counting them afterwards. Something about my brain just keeps messing up the coubt of rows and I also find it tedious. Also tehrr is a real cuance ill get distracted and make socks that are sifferent lengths 😅

I think Rogue looks very similar to the actress Olivia Coleman, have you heard this before?
