In this short, I share an insight I had while visiting Girona, in Spain. When you’re working from home, it’s important to take time off: at least one day on the weekend. And do something fun! It’s so easy to open that laptop and start working again, day after day. But that hard work leads to diminishing returns, after a certain point.

Also, life is not a race to the finish. For most of the time, we’re on a journey towards our goals. Taking one step at a time. So why wouldn’t you take the time to look around, live more slowly and enjoy the journey?

I am definitely guilty of not taking enough time off myself. Hopefully, this video will inspire you to maintain a good work-life balance.
