Never underestimate the power of fresh herbs! They can transform your dish. I learned a great tip from my great aunty who we loving called Mosie. Here are 2 ways you can store your herbs.
First off, the refrigerator method. Rinse your herbs, wrap them up in a damp towel, put them in a bag, and thats it! Into the fridge they go. They’ll stay fresh and full of life for up to 2-3 weeks.
Here’s the 2nd one. Chop up your herbs, fill up your ice cube tray, and cover in olive oil. Freeze overnight, then pop those green cubes out and store them in labelled bags.
Now you’ve got 2 ways to add more flavor to your dishes.

Rinse the herbs under cool water to remove any dirt or debris.
Pat them dry with a clean towel to remove excess water. The herbs should be moist, but not soaking wet.
Place the herbs in a single layer on a damp paper towel. The towel should be damp, not soaking wet. This provides the herbs with a humid environment that keeps them fresh without making them waterlogged. Wrap the herbs up in the paper towel.
Place the wrapped herbs in a resealable plastic bag. Don’t seal the bag completely; leave a small opening to allow for some air circulation.
Store the bag in the high-humidity drawer in your refrigerator, if you have one.
Check the herbs every couple of days. If the paper towel dries out, dampen it again.
As for how long the herbs will last, it can vary depending on the type of herb and its freshness when you first stored it.
like basil, cilantro, and parsley can typically last up to 2 weeks.
like rosemary, thyme, and oregano can last up to 3 weeks or longer.
Method 2
Chop up any fresh herbs you have on hand.
Fill each section of an ice cube tray ¾ of the way with chopped herbs.
Add olive oil until the herbs are just barely covered.
Freeze overnight, then pop the cubes out of the trays, and store them in labeled bags for later use!
