This demo is so helpful in visualizing why proper leg alignment matters. I could see the muscles on the sides of your hips relax, and your calves contract! So cool. My husband has been telling me that the reason my left hip hurts is because my glutes aren't firing correctly and I compensate by using the muscles on the sides (what are they called?) which strains my I.T. Band. He's been telling me to do wall squats and rear leg extensions. He said that also it will help my toes to naturally point forward. Now I can see also why I get a sway back when I do dishes. It's not just me forgetting my abs exist. I'm standing ALL wrong. 😂 I just started doing the exercises and going back to yoga classes too last week. I was in better shape last year thanks to 4 hrs of yoga a week and yoga teacher training. I fell off the horse. Wish me success! I'm 41; I'm too young to be in this much pain
