If you are feeding the cow or goat daily you have a right to the milk it produces, but only after feeding the one it was actually intended for I.e. the calf. Traditional husbandry techniques were cruelty free. The calf was not kicked out after being born.

Our own religion doesn't say such things. Idk what this person has read about cow's milk in our texts, there's no such thing like that. What he's saying changes with time as Cows were treated as a family in earlier times, not force pregnated or harmed in the process.
People would bring the topic that Krishna used to drink and love cow's milk but they forget that he did so when he was barely 10. After that there's no mention of such a thing.
Sanatan Dharma has always been about Ahimsa Paramo Dharma which basically translates to Non-Violence is the Epitome of Dharma. And we have to stick by it.
Aravind here's a little advice from me. You should go through the sacred Hindu texts and understand them. By doing so you can actually counter question those people who justify eating meat and dairy in the name of religion.

Because
(I repeat) BECAUSE we have a TRANSACTIONAL RELATION with COWs, wherein we domesticated the Cow and provided her nourishment (fodder), we take a Milk from her (Even Cow Dung, Cow Urine, which have been used for many things since ages).
Note... this TRANSACTIOAN RELATIONSHIP is of Mutual benefit and respect. the cow or the calf is NOT KILLED or Sacrificed for Meat etc.
Now VEGANS want that "Transactional relationship to end"
In that case, let's suppose Humans transfer to Soya Milk ... or NO MILK .... they will also gradually lose interest in Cows ... so WHERE WILL COWS ( a domesticated animal since eons) GO??
