Iโ€™m 70 years old, diagnosed with a disabling painful forever illnessโ€ฆ Iโ€™d Love To eat fresh from my yard garden again. ๐Ÿ˜ข Enjoy it while you can as you donโ€™t know what is ahead. I believe amazing days are on the horizon. I notice so many young people changing the earth by taking care of it. They give me hope

Yes, "let this be an example." You are a very good example of self-sufficiency in this time when we do need to be more self-reliant. Love from Australia.

Not only for eggs but chickens keep bugs at bay, give excellent manure which in turn fertilizes plants and trees, and theyโ€™re great at mowing down overgrown areas. Came your way via Shorts suggestion๐ŸŒŸ Looking forward to seeing your videos๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š

I started gardening late spring of 2022 in container pots and planted veggies and fruits...I had no knowledge of gardening; I was just trying it as a hobby...i was so excited to see everything begin to grow; even more so thrilled when harvest time came; this year I plan to grow more; it's so rewarding and relaxing to me. ,๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพโ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Congratulations on your beautiful garden. That's a lot of work to be that successful at growing all you're growing. I've been gardening since the eighties and I've never gone that far to learn all the canning and preserving techniques you've utilized. I just give all my extra veggies to the neighbors. I love growing it and sharing it. My neighbors always come for knowledge with questions about how to grow things, and I just love teaching them how. My goal is to inspire each one of them to start their own garden. I even grow starts to give to them. I live in a trailer park and am fortunate to have the biggest space in the park. This gives me a yard that accommodates seven large raised beds. I grow a large variety of veggies and melons and squash. I like to buy all my seeds that are uncommon varieties. Not just the usually boring stuff everyone else is growing. A few exceptions of course. I.E. beefsteak tomatoes, butternut squash, and a few more. I enjoyed your video.

I would LOVE a series walking us through the basic progression. Iโ€™m stuck and having a hard time breaking it down into manageable steps. EDIT: I love the sharing of knowledge happening here. This is what community is all about. ๐Ÿ’š

Chickens are wonderful. They will make you the best compost. And they will get the garden ready for next yearโ€™s planting when this seasonโ€™s plant season is over. Let the chickens do the work.
