I mean⌠yeah? Those incidents are despicable. The reason people like Hasan are talking about Palestine is that America supports the genocide openly. Pushing back against that messaging, criticizing institutions for their ongoing and very public actions is still a worthy pursuit. If your friend says their mother just passed, you donât rattle a list of people you know who have died, you try to support them because you know what thatâs like. Of course, itâs also a worthy pursuit to discuss these other cases but I donât think you can say that Hasan is doing something wrong by covering a more popular topic. Hasan uses his stream to popularize leftist attitudes on mainstream issues and if you bring these issues up Iâm confident he would want to bring more light to it.
