Tips for when to pick a ripe honeydew melon .
When ripe, the color of the rind should be a creamy yellow rather than green, and the rind will become smooth and waxy rather than dusky. If you press on the bottom of a ripe honeydew (the opposite end from where it's attached to the vine), it should feel slightly soft or at least a little springy.

Agreed the only way to get great melons is definitely at the vine ripped moments.
Many people never experienced vine ripped.
I get seeds out in to a gar and shake well then place seeds on a smooth piece of wood separating and they will dry faster than on plate with ore without paper and they will stick to the paper.
Thanks.
Thanks

I plan to land this next year God willing. I love to watch the farmers harvest these in North Vietnam.

Very nice!
At first it didn’t look like they would turn out so well being cramped in that corner & touching the ground, but yet again you cracked open a way better quality fruit than most grocery stores provides!
Wish I could grow those in my Zone (5a), but I don’t think it’s common or possible at all this high up north unless one invests in a complex indoor hydroponic system.

What size tubs are you using? I know. I'm just going to take my zucchini and yellow squash plant and put in compost. They did not do well this year. I must not fertilizer correctly.
