I miss the days when comic writers used LOGIC to figure out solutions to the problems their stories create. Punisher using a decoy to kill Spider--Man with a bomb makes perfect sense... his spider-sense can't tell him WHAT kind of threat he's facing, just that there is a threat and where it's coming from. It's taht, coupled with his reflexes and intuition, that makes the spider-sense such an asset. But it isn't infallible, and this story was a demonstration of that.
Take note, Batman simps. 90% of the shit Batman does is absolutely plot armor, and "prep time" isn't a legitimate explanation.

I thought I remember Peter, wearing a hospital gown and delirious, on the roof of a building ready to throw punisher off but punisher shoots him dead because he was out of mercy bullets. Then Punisher goes after Kingpin, who is about to kill him when Punisher detonates a bomb killing himself and Kingpin.
