500, 500…. 500 degrees when it leaves the nozzle. Really, so putting your hand or face anywhere near the jet stream coming out of it when you are putting a fresh piece of wood in the stove will burn the skin off you??

Could you potentially have this nozzel turned the opposite way facing the back wall of the inlet and pipe this to vents to heat other rooms in the rest of the house?

500°c, I doubt it. Flue temperature is 300 tops. Plus your flue should be kept hot, taking large amounts of heat away will increase the risk of soot and tar build up and thereby increase the risk of chimney fires.
