This happens in every state in the us, cops dont pay for the gas so they keep it running with the ac on. Same goes for a day when it's hot out, car on blasting the ac.

If that would happen to you the police wouldn't wanna hear anything. In fact u would get a tickets for leaving ur car un attended. But on the other hand we are all human so I wouldnt take action on the cop other than taking the piss out of him at the family barbeque.
