How much feed are on start turning?

This being aluminum, you can increase those speeds and feeds all around like crazy. Endmill sounded like it was running something slow like what you would for steel. 1500-2500rpm range. Raise that shit to 5500 or higher and double that feedrate it would be golden. Leaving 5 to 10 thou for a slightly slower finishe pass.
Same goes for the chamfer tool.
Maybe that spindle on the turret cant handle high speeds?
