They'll just create a judicial order that requires the person with the evidence on an electronic device to download it to a flash drive prior to coming to court or you'll have to reschedule.

I have a digital camera that does audio/video. It's not a phone. So there is no chance of disturbing noises. As far as I'm concerned, if an official doesn't allow recording, they're probably expecting to do something wrong.

So lie to the deputy? Not smart. But if you have a phone blue toothed to any medical device, hearing aids, diabetic monitor, heart monitor. The ADA protects your right to enter a facility with your cell phone.

You're not going to be blocked from bringing your cell phone into the courthouse but you might be blocked from bringing your cell phone into a courtroom or at least at the very least having it turned on however if you're going to court and you're going to be in a preceding and you need to bring that in with you courtroom, there can be no issue.
