Don't obsess about criminals seeing this.... A person who intends to steal, will find a way to steal. I could have that tool in my car and NEVER use it unless it was some kind of emergency.

That would only work if it was wired to do so iv seen several mini marts with that wired in behind the counter and you would have to kill power to the building to get in or out.. not safe at all and against fire codes all over at my job we have to inform them all the time it will fail a fire inspection by the Marshall if they dont have a rex sensor or a similar operation on the panic

The top position of magnets is wrong position. The door plate forms an arm that increases force plus adds a rotation momentum on point where magnet placed. If you put just enough pulling force to the door, it opens. Magnet must be on the same level as handle, so all force you forming will be applied to the magnet directly without any amplification.

Your doing it wrong, the magnets only have a holing force of a few hundred pounds. You just have to give it a good yank and pull the door open. I was asked to leave an apartment complex because I would yank open the magnetic entrance door when I was drunk.

No flush bolts on the second door? Mag locks connected to the push bars? Are they fire rated? Seems sus and rare. 15 years in the service, never seen this setup. Automatc doors? Exterior fob system? No e strike? Weird.

It never occurred to me that firefighters need to have bypass tools like that one and the under door tool, etc... Completely logical and seems intuitive to even study up on locksmith entry methods, bypasses, etc... ๐
