David Oistrakh, che non è diventato una leggenda del violino come virtuoso, bensì per aver saputo trasmettere le sue geniali intuizioni musicali con una naturalezza senza pari, ci stupisce anche per la solidità tecnica che alcune vecchie incisioni recentemente divulgate testimoniano. Credo che lui fosse abbastanza disinteressato all' esibizione acrobatica e che la sua solidità tecnica fosse sempre secondaria rispetto alla profondità musicale, che è stata la caratteristica che lo ha reso ineguagliabile

oh my god......... he's doing it like it is something absolutely normal in life, i want to cryyy, so beautifully played! my biggest truggle is spiccato and it always was and maybe always will be sadly
