This song was presented to me by my daughter when my husband died suddenly last year. We played it at his graveside in celebration of a life lived in the outdoors. We all wore camo! I cried when I first heard it, but now I smile thinking of the man who was my spouse for four decades. It was him down to his deer stand, big red truck, and beloved rifles.
Thank you, Lee and all of you who captured the spirits of both the woods and so many who love them. ❤

It has definitely touched me personally, Lee. We lost our nephew at 16 years old due to a stupid and tragic golf cart accident on Thanksgiving two years ago. As adults, we expect loss, but to lose someone so young, full of life and with their whole life ahead of them I would have given anything to trade my life for his. One day we'll understand God's plan, but until then we just have to have faith. But thank you, your wife and team for creating this song and the comfort it's given myself and I'm sure many others. ❤

I lost my brother two weeks ago, and this song is just written for him and touched me, four weeks before his passing, my brother and I took the boat to the Bahamas and fished for four wonderful days. I won’t ever forget that time, and this song came to his son via Spotify a couple days after the funeral. Thank you for this song!

My brother in law died suddenly in a motorcycle accident in Dec. there is nothing like your song. It is him to a T. When we feel like healing isn’t possible, your song gives us a release. You’re appreciated. All of you.
