I've been a software engineer since 2008 and with over a decade of experience, the industry is as crazy and as varied as ever.

My first job my hourly wage was higher then my state rate and federal wage per hour and it was fair wage. Sometimes it your first job you based on value and you starting out. It was $8.75 a hour when I quit it was almost $15 an hour. If I find a new job I be happy take $12 or 14 an hour then go back work at place I work at.
