I always prefer flimsy plastic over rock hard concrete anyway

I never knew there was such a high demand for newer and shittier ways to build a simple deck.

Give the guy some credit. I think he did a hell of a job trying to sell that piece of shit.

FYI...
1) "self leveling" means that you don't have to adjust it yourself.
2) "infinitely adjustable" doesn't have limits.

"floating deck system"

I believe that is referred to as a "dock"

"Honey, the new deck is moving around all over the place!"
"Don't worry babe, it's a floating deck. It's advanced. At least I didn't have to dig any darn holes."

I'm not buying anything from anyone that pronounces the word height as heigth.

Research shows people like enjoying their deck before they dig the holes needed to build it. Genius

This is the most do not buy product ever, the whole point of digging a hole to put post in is to make a strong stable connection, the second you get moderate winds, that deck will fly, seen it happen with decks just dirt filling legs instead of concrete

The only location I could see this being applicable is in an apartment building back yard that is made entirely of concrete, and you’re laying your deck down fence to fence, where no considerable amount of wind can get underneath and lift the whole thing up.

That will never pass code.

Plastic will not hold up the test of time .. not only that but natural erosion of the ground underneath will give that deck a horrible lean with 1 rainfall

The application is so specific it can barely be used anywhere

“This a foundation system made out of lego bricks. We found pouring foundation was the biggest pain point in building homes so we eliminated it”

Only if your local township allows it. It’s not just a question of keeping your deck from sinking. In high winds the holes and concrete act as anchors
