That’s awesome. That mark call and his dogs be in so calm. I have a 11 week old black lab. It’s a work in progress

I LOVE YOUR TRAINING I WISH I COULD HAVE IT ON A DVD SO I COULD WATCH MORE OVER AND OVER.. I’M TRAINING MY OWN SERVICE DOG HE’S ALREADY ONE YEARS OLD.. I AM A SENIOR AND HAVE NO MONEY. HE’S MORE EXPENSIVE THAN A CHILD, BUT DEFINITELY WORTH IT. HE’S SAVE MY LIFE, MY BEAUTIFUL, INTELLIGENT. “GSD” Thank you so much WILL ATHERTON!!

A great video right there. I was taught to be a strong believer in eye contact or guidance. My DAD taught that to his working cattle dogs here in Australia, at heel they were always watching for their next GO AROUND or COME BEHIND.

Here too grateful for some crossover discussion! We have a pet dog and a gun dog (in training). Sometimes crossover no-nos seem to be tradition more than potential training disaster. Two of my favourite youtube dog trainers in one👌

Fantastic, you’re the only one i’ve seen do this, I have been training Gundogs for many years and recognise the similarities bug differences. Great work

I bought Will's Puppy Training Course. Everyone tries to tell my Bernese Mountain Dog what to do or get his attention. He doesn't listen. When I say his name (a different name that everyone else uses), he IMMEDIATELY looks to me. He knows, I'm going to give an instruction. If you have a puppy, get the course. It will build such a bond between you and your dog.

That's such a nice format! Love seeing different training purposes for different types of jobs. I have a Malinois and I love integrating many different kinds of training to keep her versetile for many situations so this is so great to watch

I teach basic obedience and eye contact is the first thing I teach my students. All other training comes from the dog looking to their person for guidance.

My lab is bred from gundogs, he's a good boy but has really bad impulse control, would gundog training be a good way to train this?
