Thanks for all the feedback and comments guys, for anyone interested, I thought I would add a bit of context as I may get similar messages to what people have left.

Firstly, I know and admit 100% that the lift is poor form, I am not claiming the rep or claiming I was close to lifting it. I tried 90kg before this and did manage to press it but with poor form again. I just did this at the end of a leg session to see how I would do, to test myself for a bit of fun.

Even though it was heavy it was not heavy enough that I was not in control. I appreciate people get injured like this but I was in control enough to lock it incase it went south.

To anyone claiming its not 100kg. It literally is but to be specific it is probably 99.07kg

25kg plate × 2
15kg plate ×2
5 kg plate ×2 = 90kg
According to Google 'the bar on a Smith machine weighs between 15 - 25lbs' which is 6.8kg at the lower end (15lbs) in the middle (20lbs) is 9.07kg

I'm just a guy trying to be the best version of myself whilst having a touch of fun. Happy lifting guys!

next time try putting the seat perpendicular to you instead of through your legs, will be a mor comfortable position. and when your doing the squat sit back to sit on the bench then push off, it will help with form

Be careful with the bench squat in the smith machine. If that drops on your neck you can’t go anywhere, so the impact is brutal. Some people have died.
