Even if your parents may have certain religious beliefs or practices that they want to share with you, it doesn’t mean you have to give in to manipulation tactics.

Still, you can be the bigger person by maintaining open communication with your parents. And when need presents itself, remind them that everyone’s spiritual journey is personal and subjective!

Stand firm in your own beliefs, while also being open to understanding theirs. As you stay true to yourself and navigate these complicated situations with love and respect, you may find that the bond with your parents only grows stronger. And if not, you’ll grow stronger and firmer in your beliefs - with or without their support.

So, in essence, there are no reasons to give in to their manipulation, but rather countless reasons to communicate, learn, and grow - together or apart.

If you need someone who can not only help you effectively navigate controlling or manipulative religious parents AND has your back 100%, visit the links in my bio!

It’s time to give in to healing, not manipulation! 💛
