Who are all these people saying this? Why can’t one have the own discernment to not be told who they are and let others live and let live - like trans people. You call Buck Angel “she” which is totally unnecessary .. especially if you had sympathy for what people like us go through.
I never need to have anyone telling me who I am.

I miss the 90s. I swear growing up all I heard on tv and in school was to be yourself and wear what makes you happy. I remember my favorite mtv vj was Jessie and he always wore platform shoes and long scarves. Rupaul was doing cameos in almost every show. People were still obsessed with grace jones. I don’t understand this push back into stereotypical gender expression that happened in the 2010s. Clearly you had a very different experience than I did, and I’m just a straight gender conforming woman who likes ridiculous over the top feminine fashion. But I knew a lot of girls when I was younger who “dressed like boys” and most adults just shrugged it off and said they would grow out of it. I personally knew girls and women who gave themselves gender neutral nicknames, and everyone would just be like oh that’s T she’s a lesbian. I’m sorry the people around you were so obnoxious.
