No one answered, septum is the middle inside her nose, ya know like you would see on a bull, its not there because rhey made her take it out. The one between her eyes is called a Bridge, and that is through the skin/tissue not bone of the area.

i had to take out my septum ring to get an xray of my front tooth before my emergency root canal last week. i did not hesitate to take out that ring bc oh my god root/nerve pain is the WORST and completely changed my dental tolerance. i went from being incredibly fearful of the numbing syringe, like crying fearful, to going to my emergency root canal so excited for that numbing bc finally the pain went away. i will rip the piercings out of my skin if it meant no more mouth pain

Not knowing about piercings is okay, but.. I'd assume a dentist knows where the septum (anatomically speaking) is? And that they might be able to put two and two together from there? Oh well. Easy brain fart moment if you're not thinking I guess

If it's completely healed, you should be able to put it in after x-ray without much problem. I have healed snake bites, I took it out for a couple of hours and was able to put rings back

The thingie which you pointed out is cald a bridge piercing, that piercing in the nose (that you saw in the picture where you showed the lip piercing) is a septum piercing

The septum piercing is the one in the middle of the nose, yk the one people say make you look like a cow/bull. So it probably would make a huge difference on the X-ray as it is so close to the mouth

the piercing youβre (bentist) referencing with your fingers is a bridge piercing which is through the skin over the bridge of your nose, the septum piercing is through the cartilage of the nose that splits your nostrils!!

Its not a septum. Its a bridge piercing. Septum piercings are through the septum "cartilage that divides the nose into 2 separate chambers" or known as "bull ring".
Had one for 6 years now
