No, not ANYONE. It does not sound familiar as well. Example, If you are Swedish or Fnnish and come to Poland, you will start thinking Nordic people are melancholic, and you will notice Polish people are kinda hyperactive and social like Sourhern nations (even see your own interview about Polish women). Firstly , you tend to make your remark universal but you must take this remark by looking first WHO is speaking. Also mood of Poles is different in summer or between winter and spring, for example If you are from a Caribbean nation with sun all year around, you may feel the difference but it is easier for you to have great mood also "without apparent cause" all the year. And it becomes your second nature.Because the climate is an important cause. Even you can feel the difference between Spaniards from sunny Andalucia and areas with much less sun - Andalusians tend to make an impression as "happier without apparent cause". Also, I remember you lived in London at certain point but I doubt British people felt much happier than Poles.

Honestly, as a Pole, I can't understand it. I don't feel depressed, nor people around me. We also do not look sad. Every time I'm abroad I pay attention to whether people smile on the streets or not, do they look sad or not, and I can't really find the difference. People smile in Poland too, on the streets, in the shops, especially in parks or other places they can spend time with family or friends. What is up with making Poles seem depressed or sad? I really don't get it. 😢😢
