I did a breach the multiverse in 1v1 and my opponent had Calamity and I had Twinflame Tyrant so i saddled Calamity and 32 on the ground and 48 in the air was gg. I added a tooth and nail to my deck so I can get calamity and twinflame out for 9 mana out of nowhere. I’ll be very sad if it gets countered but no one expects it.

I love having devilish vallet in my prossh deck. It’s even more fun if I got any anthems on field so the base is higher and doubles faster

You can do so much with calamity. Cards like Fanatic of Mogis, Terror of the Peaks, and Sunspine Lynx can get insane value off of damage.
If you just have Calamity and Fanatic of Mogis, no other devotion, the first one will do 3 damage (Assuming calamity is out first), then when copied they'll each do 5 damage, meaning 13 damage to EACH opponent. Every combat. And if you have more devotion, even better.
There's also some nice combos you can do; combining Port Razer and Calamity go infinite so long as you can keep calamity alive. Calamity and solemn simulacrum is a crazy engine that can outpace a lot of decks if not handled. And if you REALLY want to be mean you can use cards like Akki blizzard-herder and Invader Parasite to chew away at the tables lands.
All of this also gets way more powerful if you have a panharmonicon on the battlefield, often game winning.

I played against a Calamity once and they won because no one had ever versed one before, so we had no idea how big of a threat it really was 😂

How is calamity not popular? My favorite playing is saddling Phyrexian triniform, making two clones only for them to sac leaving 6 golems, every turn. Makes the pod turn their heads every time.
