My Top Adaptive Kitchen Hacks!

As someone with a chronic illness & disability these things make using the kitchen so much easier for me. Some of these things I've had for years and some of them are new finds which have made such a difference. I hope you find them helpful too. You can find links to all the gadgets used here: www.amazon.co.uk/shop/chronicallyjenni/list/3RZ9FI…

1. My wheelie saddle stool means I can sit down & still move around the kitchen easily to get things when cooking. I tried a normal wheeled stool with a back but personally didn't find it as comfortable or easy to move with.

2. L shaped knife means less pressure on finger joints & you can give more power with your wrist.

3. Palm peeler is a easy & gentle way of peeling if you struggle with grip which you wear like a double ring.

4. These clever grip toggles are multifunctional and come in different sizes; you can put them on a variety of utensils to make them easier to hold or use the suction cup to make opening drawers & cupboards easier.

5. Preprepared frozen veg & microwaveable packs are a huge energy saver. I love having a @thegymkitchen pouch for my lunch

6. My Hands free automatic tin opener leave hands pain free - Ian & my support workers love this one too!

7. 6 in 1 opener tool opens all kinds of things from packets, bottles and jars with ease.

I liked the peeler because it seems like it’s just less dangerous than the one I have 🤔
