How to Remove Contacts when the lens is stuck (Step by step)
IF you're freaking out, take a rest and relax.
Wash and Dry your hands (very dry hands work best)
2. Control your eyelids with your fingers
3. Pinch the contact lens with fingers as shown (don’t touch your eye)
4. Remove the lens
5. Clean the lens if needed or throw away
TIP: If needed, insert a drop of artificial tears (best if made for contact lenses) or multipurpose contact lens disinfecting solution to rewet the lens on the eye.

What to do when contact lens stuck under upper eyelid
1. Wash and Dry your hands (very dry hands work best)
2. Look down and toward your nose
3. Gently push on your eyelid and move the lens downward toward the eyelid opening
4. Pinch the contact lens or let it fall out while you blink.
5. Clean the lens if needed or throw away

IMPORTANT: If you ever have a red eye, a painful eye, you think you scratched your eye or experiencing vision loss related to your contacts...REMOVE THE LENSES and call your local eye doctor ASAP.

Can’t imagine the relief that person must’ve felt after removing all of these contact lenses.

Poor little grandma. You can tell she cares about her appearance, so she was probably doing her best. ❤

Where did she think the contact lens she put in went, that's 23 times it never occurred to her "where did it go".

I have seen this video a few times. You are the only one who gave me the correct explanation of why the color of the contact lenses were greenish. Thank you.

I’ve commented on this before, but have never heard an update to her story.
Poor little lady. Dementia is cruel. I hope her practitioner realized that she needed to have her compliance monitored, closely, by her family vs discontinuance of contact lenses.

If she was doing this, just think of what else she could’ve been forgetting.

I’ve had a neighbor who did this before. She was complaining about not being able to see, even when she had her glasses on. So she went to an eye doctor thinking she needed her prescription to be changed but, later found out that she had five contact lenses in each of her eyes. I asked her how she didn’t notice especially, with all the discomfort it must’ve been causing her. She told me that she thought they would dissolve in her eye so there would be no need to take them out. 😂

That's crazy that she didn't feel that😱 what's even crazier is that she just kept putting them in.

My mom had a missing contact in her eye for over 20 years. She kept telling her optometrist that she could feel something but they couldnt ever find anything untill finally and thankfully a doctor found it and pulled it out

"My eyes are sore, I think there's a lens in there, can I make an appointment?"
"Sure, can you come in today?"
"Yea, let me put my false lashes on!"

OMG! As a former contact lens wearer I cannot imagine how she was functioning without horrible discomfort. That lady had enough plastic in her eye to make a Tupperware lid. How does someone not know all of that is in there?

I was dying when my contact glued itself to my eyeball under the eyelid, and it took hours to pry it out. I looked like I was an infected rager from the movie 28 days later!
This lady just had 28 shoved up there!!
That's a tough old bird right there! Might not be a smart old bird, but she's definitely tough!
