The angle also changes depending on where you are on the blade. It will only be accurate if contact point of the stone and blade falls on the radius of the swinging arm. Since blade is not exact same radius, the angle changes

I tried the Zip tie fixes ..they work well .. i have maybe a stupid question .. why canât the blade spine be clamped deeper .. in the holder .. ?

What do you do to keep the angle constant? For a knife this large if you set the angle at the center the angle will be shallow by about 2 degrees at the tip and heels. How do we fix that?
