Galadriel yeets herself into the ocean fully clothed, with a knife, no food or water, and thinks she can swim a ridiculous distance from the US to Europe and not get eaten or drown on the way. All of this without any expectations of getting help from the Valar like Ulmo or the Maia Uinen.
