We're doing some "major construction" at Lonestar Cement tomorrow, so we moved all the trains in Tacoma staging back to Stacy St. yard to avoid any derailments from hammering to remove some paving. (Have I mentioned DO NOT use sanded grout for HO scale paving, unless you KNOW you'll never remodel your layout in the future?!). So, what a great opportunity to survey a good part of the HO scale freight car fleet! This short video runs along the Stacy St. yard, illustrating the typical mix of railroad cars that you might see on a western US yard during the 1970's. Happy railfanning!

This video was taken with an iPhoneX, by Burr Stewart.

A full yard just means you need another yard to hold even more cars! ๐Ÿ˜„
