Playing critical currently and Chicken Little is essentially the only one that matters at all. He completely trivializes all non-bosses, which WILL be 99% of your deaths in critical, when some random enemy off-screen bops you once and you just die. He's only okay against bosses, but bosses aren't actually hard in critical.
On any lower difficulty none of them matter at all

Some say genie is better cause he can be pretty crazy if you use him correctly, but thats too high of a skill ceiling imo, so stitch being ahead is perfect. Basically unlimited magic and stitch stopong projectiles is a life saver. Chicken little is really good early game before you get magnet he really helps with mob fights. Like i abused him in timeless river to make those fights easier. As for peter pan hes great too, but yeah probably my least used.

Each one has their niche. But I've never used chicken little enough to know what his is.
Stitch is best for level grinding and magic use because he constantly supplies you with free ethers, he really comes in handy for the final hallway in the cavern of rememberance until you reach the sorcerers who are immune to magic. and his ukulele is great for getting points in the underworld coliseum.
Genie was my go to for farming points to max out the summon gauge and because he constantly heals you he makes the Lexeaus data battle the easiest one by far.
Peter pan was probably the most useful during the underworld coliseum because you're invincible and do pretty good damage
