I mean, morrowind definitely did have crossbows so they’re more so REintroducing them back in

They will also have artifacts that weren't in the original, such as muatra (vivec spear), fearstruck (a boethiah artifact), the ebony blade, and the staff of worms.

The additions are good. Love the cutscenes. I hope to see more magic gameplay from skyblivion and skywind.

If they remade morrowind exactly as it had been through this mod, then there would be a lot more dissatisfaction. The NPCs were very stagnant and static, crafting functions were very limited, and the user interface, by comparison, is primitive. I’m glad for any additions they make to the mod they are producing to make Skywind not just a great nostalgia trip, but also an improvement on the game as a whole.

Was gonna play Skywind since I have a hard time with Morrowind proper on account of ADHD. Everything I hear about it just makes me realize that no, I’m not. I wanted a remake in Skyrim’s engine, not a different game.
