I have a Ch-Honda Predator engine on my wood splitter that I run ethanol fuel in it while using it during splitting season. But on the last use I fill it up with ethanol free fuel for the downtime in the winter. In the spring I fire it up usually on one pull to warm it up, then change oil. 4 years and it never missed a beat. Canโt really go wrong on these engines. But of course there will be haters out there about Predator engines. $80.00 brand new at Harbor Freight back then ๐๐.

I have that identical motor on my agri-vac leaf catcher. I replaced the original motor myself. It is kept outside in the rain and snow all year long and starts on the second pull every single time for years. Love it!!

Tough little engine for the price. I have one on a old snapper tiller .it's tough as nails but had to do a low oil sensor delete.
