One of the ugliest things about living with a disability is how often we are told we are "overreacting," "exaggerating" or worse of all "faking" our symptoms. Oh hell no!

I had no idea how prevalent this was until it started happening to me. And sometimes from people we love and trust. The ignorance is astounding.

That's why I work everyday to push back on this little by little each day.
