This is why I’d rather just do my own nails at home. Most of the nail techs I’ve had are rude, my nails are always in worse health after the polish comes off, and (after practicing for years) a basic solid color mani looks comparable to what they’ll leave me with at a salon. If you don’t need acrylics/shellac/fancy designs and can develop a steady hand, it’s honestly not even worth it.

lol my nail tech talks about DnD with me and compliments my choices. and the other place i've been no one was speaking english so i have no idea if she was talking shit. i think she was talking about something that had nothing to do with me though bc she barely looked at me once, just my hand, a true pro. i couldn't deal with someone like this lol i'd only go to a place where they're nice in english and/or talk shit about me only in another language

This is why I go to Vietnamese nail techs. They may be talking shit, but at least I won't understand a word of it.
