Instead of a blanket I'm making a temperature snake.

I’m in northern Illinois and it’s 70° when we should still be subzero and buried in snow. Your blanket will probably start turning orange very quickly.

This is so great to visualise and compare how the climate changes year to year. Thank you for doing this and please continue to share these comparison updates!! Super interested to see how it turns out going forward 🙃🙌🙌

This is ingenious! It's almost like a code! Climate history data woven into a blanket! I'm pretty sure this is like a form of code/coding! Impressed!! I have to tell you that this is the first video of yours that i have seen (I was originally looking up how to use an embossed rolling pin) and this one video just impressed me! You are not typically who i subscribe to (and i subscribe SPARINGLY) but i am going to subscribe so...SUBSCRIBED!

I feel it would be good motivation to not only for a temperature blanket but also just a normal one. Do one row each day or maybe do granny squares and make one each day until you get enough to make the whole blanket. Definitely something i will work on next year

I would love to make one of these with different colors, like maybe white for really cold, and moves to green for really warm ❤

Thats a really great idea, and interesting to be able to see directly just how different this year is compared to last year in the same months. Awesome!!….keep going ❤️🌻

I showed your 2023 temp blanket to my Mom and she started one for my brother's engagement time! Mid-March to late July. She's gonna give it to my brother and his fiancé as a gift after they're married.

I really like that you have a white month break row! I was going to make one and saw yours. So much better. As it's pretty warm in Western Australia, it would be pretty boring from November to February. I'll make my sister one with a silver row for her birthday!

Makes me want to learn to crochet so I can make these each year. Art project idea. Global warming in crochet. Just line up a couple dozen or maybe even a hundred temperature blankets over a timeline and show how much it changes and the patterns that develop over the years
