City denizen here - heās not wrong. The irritation levels are palpable. The city is WAY too congested and busy. The payoffs however in terms of access, convenience, and competitive pay are worth it.

Don't let this guy give you the wrong idea. That's his own demeanor. I lived in NYC before Covid and it was a joy. I found the people to be overly polite if anything. People who don't like being around other people shouldn't live in a crowded city. That's their choice.

I'm like that some days too. I like going to bed happy. I like waking up happy. It's the peopleing in between that can be irritating to my energy. I need to disconnect more and it seems I just keep making more connections. "Wiring up", I guess... and feeling zapped in the process. It's all me... so I breathe... and switched to tea
