For an aircraft that is meant to be in the certification process this is lame. Why no pilot? The 150 mile range is much touted by this company but all that has been demonstrated here is that the aircraft can’t do it with a single person aboard. Also it was 150 statute miles, so only 130 nautical miles at empty weight, not even basic operating weight, and at a speed of only 104 knots. This is way short of the hype. Some people are going to make a lot of money with their investment in this company but only because they cash in their chips before reality bites the many who so uncritically suck up this sophistry.

Like another commenter already mentioned: nautical miles or statute miles? Or, less likely, one of the other dozen or so sorts of miles? And also: was there any weight on board to simulate occupants? If not, how much would having 4 or 5 80-90kg sand bags strapped into the seats impact the range?
Seemingly a promising test, but in a way it raises more questions than it answers.

Googled a bit for NMC 811 batteries, and it seems these are quite fire-prone? That should should make electric flight even more adventurous than it already is 🤣
